Three 2016 EverGreen RVs Honored as Best of Show or Top Debuts by Two Top Recreational Vehicle Industry Trade Magazines

January 25th, 2016

EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, LLC, is proud to announce its newest Lifestyle Luxury RV, Bay View Select 374 REBH received a 2016 “Best of Show” honor from RV Pro magazine, appearing on the cover of that publication’s January edition. The magazine covered the best products from the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) National Trade Show held annually in Louisville, Kentucky each December. The issue is currently available to subscribers and contains a complete write-up of this new luxury fifth wheel.

New 2016 BayView is Best of Show

“We’re very pleased because the BayView is a completely new model introduced at the show,” said Lifestyle Luxury RV Product Manager Kevin McMahon. “The BayView is a more affordable version of our best-sellingBay Hill fifth wheel series. All Lifestyle Luxury RV fifth wheels are designed for full-time use down the road.”

RV Pro writers were impressed by the Bay View’s “Interesting floorplan, offering plenty of space thanks to its four slides and barrel ceiling,” adding that “…there are plenty of residential-style touches including the fireplace with faux-field stone surround and the hardwood cabinet doors.”

Top Debuts for 2016—Lightweight I-GO Cloud and Skyline Fifth Wheels

Also recognized as exceptional for the 2016 new model year in the “Top Debuts” category of the January issue of RV Business magazine are EverGreen’s lightweight I-GO Cloud travel trailer and the new line of Skyline Layton fifth wheels.

RV Business Editor Bruce Hampson had good things to say about this year’s Top Debut award winners from EverGreen and Skyline. “I believe this year’s choices for 2016 Top Debuts show that the industry truly isn’t letting any grass grow beneath its tires. Manufacturers continually introduce new models, capitalize upon new chassis platforms and reinvent existing designs in an effort to bring to market units with amazing curb appeal, amenities and quality.”

“We couldn’t be happier to have a Best of Show award from RV Pro as well as two Top Debuts from RV Business,” commented Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Scheetz. “We’ll continue to release additional floor plans of the BayView this year as well as new Layton fifth wheel and I-GO Cloud trailers that live up to the excellence in design recognized by these two respected RV trade magazines.”

EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, LLC is the fifth largest recreational vehicle manufacturer in North America and is still an independently owned company.

EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, LLC Expands Middlebury, Indiana Manufacturing Complex by Moving Skyline RV Operations from Bristol

January 5th, 2016

EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, LLC, announced today that it will be expanding production at its 250,000 square-foot travel trailer and fifth-wheel manufacturing complex in Middlebury, Indiana by moving its Bristol, Indiana based Skyline RV manufacturing operations to Middlebury. The expansion is part of a three-phase manufacturing extension to increase production levels, add an additional Skyline assembly production line to the current EverGreen travel trailer facility and increase the capacity of its Lifestyle Luxury RV fifth-wheel plant with the addition of Skyline products.

All Skyline RV employees at the Bristol facility will be reassigned to the new manufacturing facility expanding the total EverGreen employment base in Middlebury to approximately 400.

Once emptied of its current manufacturing equipment, EverGreen plans to modernize and retool the Bristol facility to launch new product lines in 2016.

EverGreen Recreational Vehicles President Don Emahiser spoke to the decision to expand the company's manufacturing capacity at its Middlebury campus.

"Expanding and moving the Skyline RV division to our larger Middlebury manufacturing complex provides us with additional efficiencies, cost savings and management opportunities," he stated. "This move puts the new Skyline RV production group and management team in closer proximity to our Middlebury corporate headquarters for improved communications, oversight and quality assurance. We will also maximize the efficiency of our lamination facility making it central to all operations."

Emahiser went on to explain that part of the capacity of the expanded Skyline assembly line will be dedicated to the affordable Skyline aluminum "Classic" travel trailers recently reintroduced at the national trade show in Louisville, Kentucky.
