Gerry Hemshrot and Doug Lantz, President and COO of EverGreen Recreational Vehicles at the Middlebury, Indiana Plant.
EverGreen Recreational Vehicles was honored with a visit by a true American hero who takes showing his patriotism and support for our troops to new levels. Gerry Hemshrot and his wife Eileen stopped by the EverGreen Recreational Vehicles' plant in Middlebury, Indiana to show the EverGreen employees his custom wrapped travel trailer and to get a couple of upgrades.
Gerry's vision is a simple one. He wants to demonstrate his support for our brave men and women in the armed services and encourage everyone to support them as well. As a disabled American Veteran Gerry has great compassion for returning soldiers as well as those still stationed all over the world. Having served in Vietnam he remembers the pain and humiliation he went through when he came home and wants to make sure that returning soldiers are never treated that way again.
Gerry's goal is to travel the country to participate in parades and events to encourage support for our troops to as many people as possible. Although his disabilities require him to have oxygen, he is very determined. "When I set my mind to something it is going to happen," he says. He plans to travel coast to coast with is positive message of patriotism. View Gerry's video now.
