Campers4aCause was founded with the mission of uniting camping enthusiasts from across the country in support of a truly worthwhile cause. As a community, campers have much in common - a love of the outdoors, a thirst for adventure, the enjoyment of family and friends and the spirit of helping others. In celebration of this spirit, we will have a unique opportunity to show our appreciation for the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.
Our flagship initiative, Operation "HAPPY to HELP" is a call to action or rallying of the troops of sorts. Beginning Memorial Day weekend 2011 and continuing throughout the summer camping season, campers coast to coast will be encouraged to donate $5, $10, $20 or more directly to the Folds of Honor Foundation, a nationally recognized non-profit organization that provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women who have been killed or disabled serving our great nation.
